Once again we make our way through the cold and snowy weather to check on the status of the carrots and leeks that may, just may, have made it through... ahhhh yes there they are, ready for a quick rinse, a toss in the olive oil, sprinkle of sea salt and into the oven. Yes- this is just how easy it can be to have fresh food everyday-of course- thats after all the back breaking garden work last summer!
Avoid the work and enjoy the harvest with us on Saturday June 5th as we offer another fabulously delicious FEAST Garden-To-Table dinner. 5 full courses, 4 lovely wines (sparkling & still), a grand table of terrifically interesting guest (that means you) and a feeling of accomplishment knowing you are supporting quality local foods, healthy farms and sustainable ideals. Is the Feast from the Fields a restaurant?
NO... Your dinner will be prepared by self taught and culinary trained cooks and chefs interested in bringing the ideals of fresh foods locally grown to the general public-we are a collection of folks who love great food and want to spread the word!
Does the Feast from the Fields have a vegetarian option?
Yes... we offer a vegetarian - but not vegan - option of dinner. When you register for the dinner be sure to tell us you are requesting this.
How do I pay for my Feast reservation?
Return to the Pay Now button up top. We require advance payment to ensure
you have a seat. Reservations are first-come, first-serve only. You can reserve 1- 4 seats with each reservation. Refunds will be available up to 14 days prior to your dinner. All you need to send payment through our secure PayPal account is an email address and a credit card; you don’t have to sign up for an account in order to use PayPal (see the ' no account? click here' in the bottom left side of your PP invoice email).
Where will the Feast be?
Somewhere in and around the New River Gorge, in southern West Virginia. We can’t tell you where as of today. . . but we will email you with detailed directions to the location and notes about the event 6-7 days prior to your dinner date.
Can I make more than one - 4 person-reservation for the FEAST?
Yes...if you would like to have many of your friends or family together let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. We do encouage folks to spread out and sit with other guest as a way to immerse yourself in the enjoyment of the evening.
